We seek an experienced and highly motivated sales professional to manage and grow our business in Victoria. This is a hands-on selling role but also one with responsibility for strategy development and implementation.

The position reports directly to the Brisbane-based Australian Sales Manager.

The successful candidate will have at least four years sales experience in the lighting, electrical or building construction industries and be able to demonstrate a successful track record of selling to specifiers, lighting engineers, local government, contractors, developers and retailers. Knowledge of lighting products will be highly regarded although not essential.

You will have exceptional negotiation and communication skills, a solid understanding of customer relationship selling of technical products, and a high level of computer literacy. Ideally, you will be familiar with and embrace the use of customer relationship management (CRM) software.

We are looking for a Group Financial Controller to take hands-on responsibility for all financial management aspects of the Lumascape Group of companies here and in our subsidiary in the United States.

This is the most senior financial role at Lumascape. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate very strong technical and strategic management skills, and the business experience to contribute to the day-to-day management of Lumascape as a member of the Senior Management Team.

You will oversee the corporate administration, management accounting and IT systems functions, and closely liaise with external tax advisors, auditors, accountants and regulatory authorities to ensure the business remains on target to achieve its financial objectives.

We seek an experienced Sales Representative to join our Sales department.

The successful applicant will be a principal point of telephone contact between Lumascape, our customer group and our external sales representatives, with regard to technical, commercial and order status enquiries.

You will use your prospecting skills to research, qualify and disseminate prospect and opportunity information to the external sales team, and assist with the provision of market research information to the Marketing department.

You will need to demonstrate at least three years experience in telephone selling and new business prospecting, in a fast-moving just-in-time manufacturing, industrial or similar environment.

You must be technically minded, have exceptional communication skills, a solid understanding of customer relationship selling of technical products, and a high level of computer literacy. Ideally, you will be familiar with and embrace the use of Customer Relationship Management software, (although we’ll train you if you haven’t used it before).
