We seek an experienced, talented and motivated specification sales representative to continue our strong growth in South East Queensland.

This is primarily an “on the road” position, where you will be responsible for maintaining a regular call cycle with both existing and new clients in order to effectively represent the company’s range of products, ensuring sales targets are met.  As well as assisting customers with technical queries, you will also be responsible for liaising with production and customer service staff to optimise the level of service provided.

Reporting to the Australian Sales Manager, the successful applicant will be able to demonstrate experience in selling to designers, architects and electrical engineering consultants.  Your exceptional ability to identify opportunities and build relationships will be paramount to your success in this role, as will your strong time management skills and attention to detail.

A qualification in lighting design or a minimum of five years experience in the lighting industry will be highly regarded.

The salary package is negotiable to attract the right person and will include a car allowance, e-Tag, laptop and phone as tools of the trade.

Production Engineering Assistant

Lumascape Lighting Industries is Australia’s leading manufacturer of high performance premium quality exterior architectural lighting products, all designed, developed and manufactured in house.

We seek an experienced and motivated Production Engineering Assistant to support our drive for quality, cost and efficiency improvements.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Improvement Manager, the successful applicant will be able to demonstrate experience in a continuous process improvement role in a complex and fast moving manufacturing environment.  Ideally, your background will include exposure to lean manufacturing principles, quality management systems, preparation and maintenance of technical data, and problem solving tools such as 8D, Fishbone and 5Why Analysis.

.A tertiary qualification in a related engineering field is desirable but not essential.  Competency in MS Office, Solid Edge and Corel Draw will be highly regarded.

Mechanical Design Engineer

Lumascape Lighting Industries is Australia’s leading designer and manufacturer of high performance, high durability and premium quality exterior architectural lighting products.  Our luminaires are rated up to IP68 and IK10 and are exported around the world, often for installation in extremely harsh environments.

A unique opportunity exists for a highly motivated and talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join this successful Queensland company.

Ongoing new product development is critical to our future success.  Working with the Design Team, you will be involved in designing and developing technical solutions for both new and existing products, while staying up to date with new technologies, techniques and standards.

The successful applicant will have a proven record in innovative and creative design. As an experienced Design Engineer, you will have strong computer skills, particularly in parametric 3D modeling software and MS Office.

Experience with a variety of materials (stainless steel, aluminium, plastic) and manufacturing processes (plastic injection moulding, die casting and metal fabrication), and a basic electrical knowledge is desirable.  An understanding of thermal analysis, environmental sealing of enclosures and corrosion testing will be highly regarded.
